Love garlic. A buddy named White gave me some garlic buds, second or third generation buds, and I planted them. What seemed like forever later the beasts matured and I harvested dozens of healthy bulps. Laid them out, took a picture, illustrated from the pic, imported the pic into my Adobe app and added color. Here you go.
I’ve grown, or tried to grow, melons of all sorts for years. Never successful. Never. Squirrels eat them. Deer eat them. Rabbits too. But…. If I ever did grow them fully, they’d look something like this.
Like other works of Max Flex “art” this started as a pencil sketch which was photographed and imported into an iPad Pro Adobe app for colorization.

Carrots. Mom forced them on us (me and the Bros) when we were kids. Every night. A raw carrot. For the Bros’ carrots, I used to carve out tunnels, stuff them full of newspaper rubber bands, and watch them bite and chew and chew and chew.
So, I drew a bunch of carrots and colorized the drawing on my iPad.
I have had as much success growing pumpkins as I have had with Melons.
But my Granddaddy sure could grow them. I remember. Here’s a recollection that started with a pencil sketch and grew from there.
